For the record men leave just as much (maybe even more). I'm the woman and I never left except 1 relationship after 4 years of pretty serious abuse starting when I was 16. And even then technically I told him to leave in a fight where I was repeatedly slammed into the wall, and then later before he actually left I begged him not to, was told he realized i deserved better and i said so just be better, dont beat the fuck out of me and control everything i do, and stop cheating, and using me, and get a job, apparently that was asking too much to just be a decent human being. But otherwise I've always been the one to stay and try to fix things. I don't abandon ppl, friends too. The problem is that leaves me being the one who is ALWAYS left. So I just don't date anymore. The last guy I dated left me with a son this time and he has nothing to do with him, and never really has (only enough to be able to have several pics of him as a newborn with him to plaster all over his facebook and try to look like a good dad infront of all his friends and family even though hes never helped ever in any way, pays nothing, hasnt seen his son since 6 months before he turned 2 and hes almost 4. And hasn't even tried to call him since October 2019. So yeah BOYS leave too.
@@gingermama3205 Aw shit. Sorry to hear about you being abused. Only cowards abuse women! And yeah, you are correct, boys leave too. I'm the one who broke up with my ex and now, 12 years later... well... Let's just say I regret what I did, just a little bit, but we were dragging each other down and constantly arguing about the little unimportant shit, but she will always have a very special place in my heart. Too bad that now, again, 12 years later, she wants nothing to do with me because I broke her heart. But I miss our friendship, she was my first True Love and we spent a few good/decent years together but holy shit did it ever end badly. =/ I guess by sharing that I just wanted to say, "I feel your pain". Sometimes though, it's just not meant to be... but again: ABUSE? IS WRONG. PERIOD. Hang in there. =)
@@TheAstroChild thank you and I'm dealing just fine. It turned out that because I'm a loving caring and super loyal person in general and always want to help people that I tend to attract ppl that want or at least DO use me/abuse me/cheat on me/all of the above. I've been through physical, mental, and sexual abuse (all from relationships not any from family, I mean my parents screwed me up mentally but there was never any mental abuse ya know what I mean? But the parents story is a whole other story/ballgame that I'm not even going to begin to dive into now/here.) But yeah after that first big abusive relationship I went through some dark times. I was with him from 16-20 so very sensitive timing in a kids life, we lived together at my parents (he had been kicked out) and I hid it from everyone and they all hated him but let him stay bc they were worried I'd leave with him if they kicked him out and honestly I probably would have. I was so blindly madly deeply in love with him, I thought our love was just "different and unique" and i had always been so very passionately like "if he hits you, leave, you're better than that and don't deserve that" but when it first happened to me it's like i couldnt even see it at first. Again thought it was just unique like we were more "married with children" than "the beavers" except we actually wanted to have sex with each other lol. But turns out it's not "different and unique" its abuse and it's extremely common. But bc I went through such a dark time after he was gone I wound up in some bad situations and well basically rather than telling someone "no" and them taking it anyways my brain finally decided if you just dont say no then you werent assaulted and you're not a victim. Before that I was in some scary situations when I did say no, so yeah better to just shut up, do it, and get back to whatever else. I'm not proud of it by any means and I know how very wrong and messed up that is, but back then there wasn't all this me too stuff, and it's what my brain had to do to not break. A lot of ppl think there are 2 reactions to anything traumatic/scary: fight or flight. But its been proven (and you can Google it, this is real) there is actually a 3rd response we are programmed with and it's most often displayed in....wait for it....sexual assault victims! Its freeze. Basically you almost enter like a dissociative like state, it's like your body is there and its happening but your mind isnt. Yes you just "let it happen" but it's literally a response just like fight of flight. Like you freeze and try to wait out the danger. And I definitely went there.... After that first relationship it took me a long time to be able to deal with a man when he was angry. A friend of mine I worked with back then got mad and kicked the fryer at work and even though I knew hed never hurt me it's like my brain froze, I didnt make a sound and a single tear went down my cheek. I finally managed to get to the break room and take a few minutes to pull myself together and he came back and apologized. I told him he had no reason to. It's not his fault and he is allowed to get mad. I hated I made him feel like he did something to apologize for, but I literally couldnt help it. I was diagnosed with PTSD. From my ex not including all the fallout from after him. At some point I went from spazing like that when a man got angry to getting angry back and not taking shit like that. There are still a few things that at last I checked I still had issues with-mostly waking the guy I'm dating up. Trying to wake up my ex, the first one, was some of the worst and most guaranteed physical abuse times. He always wanted me to wake him up whenever but if I woke him up when he asked me to it was guaranteed getting thrown into the wall and whatever else. He said he was doing it in his sleep and didnt know but I later found out he used that excuse a lot for things and it was never true, he bragged to his buddy who just so happened to be in love with me at the time, and wed been friends for years, he didnt say anything till after we broke up and even then it was mostly him only confirming or denying something I already suspected. He was far too good a friend to that jackass. But anyways we are still good friends to this day.

Thank you so much for uploading this. I remember watching your show when it first came out. I was enthralled with each episode. The way grim subject matter was crafted into episodes of pristine, laugh out loud comedy really resonated with me. It was literally the only show of its kind. I have been rewatching those 3 seasons for the past two decades. Finding humor in pain has not only helped elevate my skills as a writer, but also gave me a constantly renewed hope in life. To me, Titus will always be a show that teaches you hope above all else. And I just made this comment in the hope that you realize what a remarkable thing you've achieved by introducing this mini-revolution of comedy into our TVs.
Best pilot episode. Of any show. Of all time. I will not budge from that. This was the only show that managed to get my whole household to sit and watch together.
Back in September 98 when I was 10, I got word that my 19yr-old sister tried leaving her bf & he killed her. I spent Thanksgiving 99 in a mental ward on suicide watch and the whole nine. When my dad introduced me to this show on its original air date a few years later, this show helped both of us in more ways than anything else at that point in our lives. Over the years you became my inspiration to keep going. Sad to report that things never got easier and I'm at the end of the line with all the issues that cumulated over the past decade. Thank you for sharing your story & giving me the strength to keep going.
holy shit you were TEN? Small wonder you were traumatized. My heart goes out to you and I have a feeling your sister is in a good place. Just one of those gut feelings. Perhaps, God Willing, you will see her again some time. ... as for Titus... he's just awesome, hahaha he cracks me up and also same here, I've spent time in the psych ward and it was traumatizing in and of itself, and watching Titus' material and laughing hysterically at the way he manages to turn trauma and tragedy into humor.. well... I suppose what I'm saying is "I feel ya". Keep on goin' on! (BTW, such loss as you have experienced, and at a young age... it does get easier to live with, with time, but I believe your sister must have had a very special place in your heart and you were very young when you lost her... just think of it this way: It was her body that died... her Awareness, or Soul if you will, it transitioned, moved on to somewhere else and like I said, God Willing, you will see her again and I'm sure she at least at some point, watched over you during your childhood and I have a feeling she felt your pain) *HUGS* =)

@@chrisdelagarza8048 I'm sorry, 'knock it the fuck off' is how you respond to the story of a 10-YEAR-OLD'S freak out? A freak out that has, understandably (especially for such a young age), traumatized them? How would you fare, I wonder, with finding out something like TheAstroChild did, at TEN? Would you be completely fine and all sunshine and roses from there out? Or would the knowledge, at an age where we're all still forming our understanding of the world, that your older sister's boyfriend KILLED her, effect your outlook on life, too? Would you be so quick to swear at a 20-year-old kid, who clearly has already endured more than their fair share of shit? I wonder if you would appreciate being told to 'knock it the fuck off'? Believe it or not, you can convince people to keep going, to see their life from a different standpoint, without essentially screaming and shaming them on the internet.

The best comedy series i have ever watched. Titus is a true genius. Only someone who has lived true life' s tragedies snd can grow and ivercone them , can write and act material if this caliber. He was perfect on this series. And the entire cast was spot on. An absolute shame the series was cancelled because of a network ' s executives shortsightness.

OMG!!! THIS IS THE HAPPIEST THING I'VE SEEN IN AGES! I am literally wiping away tears of joy, seeing TITUS released & distributed by its loving creator, Christopher Titus. TITUS the show, like Christopher Titus on stage, weaves what's funny into a longer form story, with results deeper/ truer & more emotional/ important than you may have thought a comedian was capable of. I still own one of the rarest artifacts in modern history: a DVD Combo Pack of TITUS - Season One & Two. I know the tragic story of the show's burial by Network Execs - while on the air, limited physical media release & refusing to include the show on any digital platform. But at long last, TITUS has been freed - to bask in the sunshine & to share its LOVE ❤ wit, & wisdom that drives the laughter home! WELCOME BACK, #TITUS
Just discovering this. Thanks for uploading, Christopher. This show was very important to me growing up. It came on right at the time that I started looking around at my family and realizing, "this isn't normal". The opening line of the first episode immediately made me feel not alone. The drugs, abuse, divorces, siblings from different parents, it was all there. This helped me laugh at everything while coming to terms.

TITUS will always be one of my favorite shows. Without ripping it off at all, a modern-day version of All in the Family. And laugh till you cry funny. This show was a masterpiece start to it's unfortunately early finish.
Childhood memories! and I don’t have to feel guilty watching it on some other channel in inferior quality and/or with content cut out.Thank you Chris! You’re the best. So very awesome to see these officially available on RUclips. Titus, major props to EVERYONE who worked on this show - in front of and behind the camera - but YOU are definitely the funny one!!!
This show was so awesome. I miss sitcoms like this. I had forgotten all about this great show until I saw it on RUclips shorts. They don't make great shows like this anymore.
I grew up watching this show. My step dad showed it to me when I was about 11 or 12. I watched the whole thing on repeat at least 50 times. It became a comfort show for me and reminded me of my step-dad even when he wasn't around. Eventually he and my mother split up but I very much still loved him. Over the years his health started to decline. He was diabetic and drank too much. He had several strokes over a few years. Then in February of this year his biological son called me and told me he had passed. Ironically he was only 54 years old. So this show and particularly this episode holds a special place in my heart.
From the depths of my soul, I say thank you. THANK YOU Thank you for dropping this, now I know you probably won't or maybe you will drop the rest of the episodes, because now I no long have to be bound to shitty quality bootleg 3 part episodes of Titus on Youribe channels. It was one thing to have your specials, and your specials have helped me throughout my life which I'm sure you've heard or read million times, but I had never seen your show until High School. I was sick with meningitis one year then mono the next a testicular cancer scare and a biopsy of my penis and a recircumcision, that was the worst part, but I discovered the show finally on a RUclips channel, all 3 seasons, and I binged watched it all of it in one night and laughed my ass off through all the pain and jep watching it through more and more incidents. Thank you Titus

Recently backed up my entire DVD series set of Titus, because I want to make sure I preserve one of my all time, short lived early 2000's Fox sitcoms. It should've gone on for so much longer, but I'll enjoy what of it exists!

Oh, and aside from Titus himself, Stacy Keach is my favorite cast member (Zack Ward is very close behind).
Whenever I watch one of Titus's standup specials and he's talking about his dad, I can't NOT picture Stacy Keach. He was fucking amazing on this show. I remember watching this back in HS when it was on TV, and it's just a pure classic.
THIS WAS AND IS STILL ONE OF THE GREATEST SHOWS EVER. HELL BRING IT BACK
Man I'd forgotten how funny this show was. Really glad you're throwing good material up there for us right now Titus, much love mate.
This show helped me to survive my childhood. Pretty sure Christopher Titus saved my life.
I was watching this Tv Show on french Television in 2001, loving this Spirit!
Happy to Watch it again !
I was 14 back then and I remember the lesson from Papa Titus: "Women leave. Thats what they do" Best wishes Titus!
But we didnt learn.
I guess by sharing that I just wanted to say, "I feel your pain".
@@TheAstroChild and yes you're right, they arent always meant to be and yes it sucks when you have those leftover feelings. Its really easy to look back with rose colored glasses though
So he's releasing his comedy specials AND titus?!
He's either infected and dying! OR he's got a new special he's gonna hit us with at the end of this quarantine
We can hope! ( for a new special)
@@clydeg5546 you're a douchette.
That be amazing if he announced the series was getting remade for like Netflix or something after this pandemic is over. Unlikely BUT I CAN DREAM CAN'T I?
Could Titus just be nice and be helping us through this weird times? I believe so.
Knight Solaire of Astora hopefully so .
This takes me waaaaay back. I remember watching this show and loving it, but not really understanding it. Then I got a copy of Norman Rockwell is Bleeding and watched it so many times to have it memorized. Thank you for sharing your life with us Titus.
Love this show. Love the dark humor. Lost it over the Erin walking in on her parents bit😂😂
I lost it at the end with the beer can and the look on their faces 🤣
Lol this sitcom still holds up! Im already in stitches. I relate SO MUCH to this show! I was adopted by my grandfather who was an army drill sargeant and very much like stacy keach’s portrayal of your father, and he was always up my ass for losing tools.
Thanks for actually airing "Dad's Dead" as the first episode instead of "Sex with Pudding" like FOX and the DVDs did.
I remember this show when I was a kid. Super underrated. They couldn't have possibly picked a better actor to play the dad than Stacey Keach.
You’re only fucking 20 years old dude. Knock it the fuck off. Get the fuck up. And March the fuck on.. You better be alive to read this, I’ll smack ya in the back of the head. Just like my grandpa did
@@chrisdelagarza8048 I'm sorry, 'knock it the fuck off' is how you respond to the story of a 10-YEAR-OLD'S freak out?
Titus, you are without a doubt a God amongst men. I would buy the actual DVDs of the series, but the prices are so jacked on Amazon idk. Ever think you'll release it on your site?
Check ebay I got both boxes for about 130$ worth every penny...thank you titus you are my spirit animal...lol
Shaggymatt92 Jacobs
Just steam it, I could buy a lot of beer for 130 fuck that you got ripped off
My parents got the sets for like $30 combined well before the discs became out of print. I have since made sure I made digital copies of the episodes.
Ima collector, at the time I bought it I had a bit of expendable income at the time
@@shaggymatt92jacobs70 For sheer entertainment dollar, Titus is easily worth what you paid for it. There maybe more seasons of shows like Friends and Frasier but this never got unfunny.
"Son, your mom is shacked up in the wacko basket." 😂😂😂😂😂
Cookie??
Sleep well boy!
"Who won the pool?" 😂😂😂
Gets me every time!
Mine was the later exchange, "Who had 54?" "Dad." Goddamn it, lmao
OMG, this is one of the best pilot episodes I've ever seen
It's a shame FOX had to butt in and force a new direction for the show that frankly wasn't right for it. Thanks for sharing these man!
I’m so glad I found this. I love this show and have the dvds, but when out and about traveling, there’s no way to bring those along. Finally a streaming option for it!
This show is a true gem, hope you release them all!!
Man I have to watch this every 2 years or so this is one of my all time favorite TV shows of all time the last time I watched this was in the first stages of the COVID days
Even after near 20 years, this show is still the funniest.
Exactly. Nothing out there today compares to this masterpiece of comedy
Thank you from a doctor stuck at work during a pandemic. I loved this show and I am a huge fan. Thanks for this.
One of my favorite shows ever! I must have been like 13, and now I'm 33 and it still holds up easily. It's was kinda like a ... ... art! Finally saw him live last year in Brea :)
Awesome bonding moments with my dad as I was in high school and we’d watch this together.
I absolutely love that you posted the first episode of your show, Titus! There are a lot of people out there who could benefit from being introduced to this show, and learning they are not alone in their dysfunctional upbringing.
Brings back so many memories of when my dad died only funnier with less uncomfortable silences.
I was in the 5th grade when this show premiered in my area.... I can't tell you how long I've been wanting to watch this show again. Thank you!!!
This is my JAM! Didnt start watching his show until recently. But hes one of the realist comedians out there
realest* Realist is a noun. It's a person who subscribes to the philosophy of realism. Technically, "realest" is also wrong, as it should be "most real", but that's dumb and arbitrary.
@@farkasmactavish and the point of your comment is...what?
@@connorquinlan3855 To be pedantic.
Loved this show. Still wiping tears out of my eyes from laughing.
I loved this show. I was living and working overseas when this was a thing and so I didn't always get to watch it. Very cool!
Totally remember this show like 20 yrs back. Damn good comedy. Thanks for letting your fellow Earthlings watch it again & again✌️✌️
I loved this show.
One of the best shows on tv ever! I got the boxed set and I'm STILL gonna watch this, lol.
I remember watching this show on Fox I believe , it was so ahead of its time.
This just made me forget about all the other stuff in the world
I really liked this show when it first aired. I'm glad I have an opportunity to watch it again.
This is the first time I've seen this in years. Just as good as it was back then. My life on screen lol. The attention to the details on the set were incredible. You hit it out of the park. Script, actors, set, all perfect.
One of my favorite shows.
The casting for this show was so on point...
The show that made me a Titus fan. Thanks, we needed this right now!
still one of my favorite tv shows to this day
I had the hardest laughs of my life with this sitcom. Sooo glad to be able to watch it here on youtube!
Oh my friggen lord. I grew up watching this show and being amazed that there was a family so weird it made my strange one look normal. Thank you so much Titus! You are making this lockdown so much better with everything you release! thanks for nostalgia kick from when I was a little boy.
I always loved this show!
The scene where Titus talks about him starting a business and what happens next is priceless 😂 I was screaming
Best scene
This show changed my life for the better. Thank You, Mr. Titus. Much Love from Canada
love that the whole series of Titus is in fact norman rockwell is bleeding special =D
Yup!
The material is almost verbatim the same but he so makes it work and it doesnt come of as tedious. That takes some talent
@@RESIDENTEVIL1256 plus the acting from Stacy Keach as the dad was top notch, always laughed at his role =D
This flow of content new and old has helped ease the boredom/existential despair of being “socially distant” to a mild background hum.
This is one of my favorite shows and Titus is one of my favorite comedians. It's so great you did this during this time. It really means a lot to me right now.
That one episode took me on an emotional rollercoaster and it was a fricking sitcom. Got to hand it to you that pilot was impressive
I grew up watching this show, watched it daily during middle school and high school. I'm so glad to see it on a platform where more people can see it and enjoy it! So ahead of its time... This applies to so much more than it has ever received credit for! Thank you, Titus!
Man, I miss this show. My dad was similar to Ken, except he was a smoker instead of an alcoholic. He passed away two years ago due to pancreatic cancer. Sad as it was on my family, I did have some flashbacks to this episode after it happened. Hope to see this get a sequel series on Netflix or something someday. Thanks for putting this up, Titus!
This was the best show on tv at that time!Never missed an episode! The episode where Mom gets out of the wacko bin and she appears to be all better and everyone is walking on eggshells was classic! And dad ordering a cheeseburger on his way to the hospital, easy on the cheese I've got a heart thing grabs his arm! Man the laughs I had watching this show!!Thanks for some good times Chris!
No way! I actually get to see the show?! Best day ever!
after all these years ,this is still my favorite show, mus have seen it 100 times ...always picks me up when i am down ...take care Titus and keep up the fight against covid 19/ M.P/Sweden
I friggen LOVED this show 🤣🤣🤣
I love this show so much, one of my favorite sitcoms of all time! Thank you so much for putting episodes up!!! I have the entire series on DVD and used to re-watch them at least once a year but as I've migrated to be mostly a streaming video watcher my DVD's kind of have been (literally) left in the dust. So very awesome to see these officially available on RUclips.
Titus, major props to EVERYONE who worked on this show - in front of and behind the camera - but YOU are definitely the funny one!!!
God I miss this show! Thanks for the upload Titus!
This show was so awesome. I miss sitcoms like this. I had forgotten all about this great show until I saw it on RUclips shorts. They don't make great shows like this anymore.
Loved this show as a kid, so glad I can watch it again
I grew up watching this show. My step dad showed it to me when I was about 11 or 12. I watched the whole thing on repeat at least 50 times. It became a comfort show for me and reminded me of my step-dad even when he wasn't around. Eventually he and my mother split up but I very much still loved him. Over the years his health started to decline. He was diabetic and drank too much. He had several strokes over a few years. Then in February of this year his biological son called me and told me he had passed. Ironically he was only 54 years old. So this show and particularly this episode holds a special place in my heart.
I’m a long time fan Titus, uploading this to RUclips right now is the smartest thing a comedian has done in a very long time.
I suspect a lot of people will remember this fondly, like a bright spot in the darkness kind of thing.
For sure one of the best shows ever.
From the depths of my soul, I say thank you.
THANK YOU
Thank you for dropping this, now I know you probably won't or maybe you will drop the rest of the episodes, because now I no long have to be bound to shitty quality bootleg 3 part episodes of Titus on Youribe channels.
I have all 3 seasons on dvd. But instead of having the risk of wearing them out, I'm watch7ng here. Best show since. I remember when it came out when I was in 8th grade.
YESSSSS! Oh how I have missed this show!!! Bless you man!
Never have words of a television intro rang more true so many years later and one of the few shows that was easily ahead of its time
I could kiss you now Christopher. But I'll keep by distance.
PS: Is that a new Lexus?!
HA it's funny 'cuz the world is ending 😆
This is one of the craziest guilty pleasures I ever watched on TV! 😂😂😂
Surprised I never heard of this outside of Christopher's specials. Actually laughing pretty hard at points enjoying it
I'm sure mr. Titus is known for a lot of great things but all I really know is I really freaking love this show. I grew up watching it as a teenager and it still makes me laugh now as hard as it did back then. Not many TV shows hold up after 20 years especially comedies. This show is total gold
Never blame yourself, Chris. Fox destroyed this show with their attempted meddling, not you.
Oh good lord, bring back the memories. Chris Titus is one funny guy.
another underrated gem...and in the meantime, "full house" ran for years.
Recently backed up my entire DVD series set of Titus, because I want to make sure I preserve one of my all time, short lived early 2000's Fox sitcoms. It should've gone on for so much longer, but I'll enjoy what of it exists!
17:05 his dad letting him shock himself had me dying 😂 almost lost my 🍻
I miss this show dearly. Time for a binge!
Lol his brother is Scott Farkus from A Christmas Story.
I knew I recognized him! Thank you. But fun(ish) fact: it's actually Scut Farkus but I think that's a nickname for Scott.
"He had yellow eyes! So help me God, yellow eyes!"
